| I am a retired director who has been married for 40 years. I am told I have a laid back attitude to life, plenty of conversation and a good sense of humour. Children have flown the nest but now have grandchildren. The sex life has gone out of our marriage but don't want to rock the boat. I am now a carer for my wife who has early Alzheimers. Interests are mainly outdoor and active to keep fit such as walking and cycling. Also enjoy big boat sailing and skiing. Used to also enjoy scuba but preferably in tropical waters. Foreign travel is also regular occurence for holidays, particularly to mainland Europe but occasionally further afield. Grew up in the Midlands but now lived in Yorkshire for over 20years. Like cooking but ideal evening out would be a cosy country pub over a nice meal washed down with a good red wine with stimulating conversation. I take a keen interest in current affairs. My ideal weekend away would be walking in the spring, perhaps to the Lake District stopping at good quality country inn. |
